  • Deliver salary and waged recruitment strategies

  • Manage end to end recruitment of multifaceted roles from operations to senior exec

Join a respected NZ manufacturing corporate; lead the in-house recruitment function; work directly with our executive team; source superb talent!

Picture this - hard hat, steel caps, high vis, getting amongst it at our timber manufacturing facilities in our regional locations to the flip side of corporate head office functions – sound like a bit of you? It will be imperative you enjoy the continuous learning opportunities within both environments to build your knowledge of our production and engineering shop floor operations through to the intricacies of the various professional services teams. Ultimately you’ll relish the opportunity to effectively understand, support and deliver to a wide variety of recruitment needs.

Put your well-developed professional expertise, energy and superior multitasking abilities into action as you take on this generalist in-house recruitment leadership position. You will be exposed to a broad spectrum of tasks and accountabilities and work closely with our leaders to understand their business needs to deliver highly effective recruitment and candidate sourcing campaigns and outcomes.

As an experienced in-house Senior Recruiter, a taste of what you’ll be responsible for will include:

  • Being an active key member of the HR team reporting to the HR Manager

  • Managing, supporting and developing one Recruiter (and Contractors as required)

  • Actively driving inventive sourcing and search campaigns

  • Recruitment of salaried positions across all areas and levels of the business

  • Overseeing, supporting and driving waged recruitment activities

  • Weekly reporting and analysis

  • Managing the careers site and implementing social media activities

  • Planning and delivering to various recruitment projects

  • Recruitment related administration and process improvement

  • Candidate psychometric profiling

  • Training, coaching and supporting hiring managers

Recognised by your colleagues for your successful achievements within a similar role, you’ll be experienced leading small teams; have strong in-house recruitment experience ideally within a multisite business; thrive on the daily pressure recruitment brings; and have highly developed interview techniques.  Exposure to manufacturing, operations and engineering would be advantageous but not essential.

You can genuinely make this role your own and play a huge part in shaping the future of our business with your naturally warm and open nature and passion for representing CHH Woodproducts. You’ll have an inherent ability to identify talent in line with our company culture, assisting our hiring managers to achieve their goals and ensuring candidates understand how they can develop their potential career path within our business.
