Regional Sales Manager – North Island

Due to an internal promotion we are looking to bring on board an experienced sales performer with an unquestionable aptitude for making the most of every opportunity within an ever changing market place.

Offering a diverse mix of customer relationship management, people leadership & operational accountabilities, your key focus areas will include:

  • Building & maintaining high level relationships with senior decision makers across our major Merchant accounts

  • Leading, providing direction & motivating your team to achieve sales targets

  • Implementing key account and marketing strategic & segment plans

  • Financial management & reporting including forecasting

  • Maintaining effective relationships with internal teams to achieve business objectives

  • Analysing market trends, identifying new product & service opportunities & executing related launches

  • Initiating continuous performance improvement strategies

    For this lead role ideally you’ll have industry related experience at a senior level with career achievements excelling in value add propositions on a commoditised product. Charismatic by nature, your ability to deliver to client needs in a technical environment is essential as is proven success in leading sales teams & implementing strategic marketing plans to increase revenue streams.

    Selling a comprehensive range of products within the timber industry you’ll be tasked with maintaining a strong competitive edge by providing outstanding service levels. With a coaching & collaborative leadership style, your team will look to you to enhance their capabilities & performance to deliver to their key objectives.

    Actively maintaining a presence at the coalface of our customers, some out of town travel and/or day trips will be required each month.
