Secondary Scheduler


In our role you will be responsible for workcentre scheduling, stock control, consumables planning and problem solving which ultimately support meeting our customer needs. 

You’ll focus on:

  • Understanding operational needs and the development of schedules and stock controls that deliver the best results for the business.
  • Having strong relationships with operational leadership and supervisors and maintain strong open communication channels with them.
  • Understanding and problem solving at the site across multiple work centres
  • Tracking, analysing data and reviewing weekly schedules and consumption
  • Identifying stock variances in a timely manner, discussing any key issues with Supervisors, presenting options and driving solution

Attention to detail will be one of your key strengths as will your ability to problem solve and be conceptual and analytical in your thinking. Although you’ll be part of a collaborative team, you’ll have lots of room to use your own initiative and really take ownership of your role.

We’re interested in talking with professionals who are currently in a production environment in scheduling or stock control, ideally within a manufacturing environment, or similar. The key to your success will be your well-developed analytical skills, ability to process and make sense of large amounts of data and information.  Strong Excel skills are essential; knowledge of ERP system (Microsoft BC in our case) is ideal and a relevant tertiary qualification would be an advantage. Adding value & thinking outside the square will be your forte, as will your ability to interact & communicate effectively across all levels of a business.
